FoodFest in Cologne

I found the selection awesome and the prices quite humane.

Had one of the tastiest burgers I've ever eaten here. Sometimes you discover something new at the supposedly smaller street food events (wild boar sausage from the grill, etc.) because not all stands are as crowded as at the already known events and you can enjoy so much more relaxed.

The FoodFest always comes along as the little brother of the Streetfood Festival and last weekend it was back on the hippodrome. For 3 euros entry you got a reasonably good but also a small selection of food trucks presented. A few familiar faces, like Beef Brothers, were there. When eating the burgers were again in the majority. Stands with bratwurst and pancakes are traditionally empty at such events. My Philly Cheese sandwich from Let It Beef was delicious and priced ok with 6,50 Euro.

I've visited the Cologne Street Food Festival in regular basis and if I compare it with the FoodFest in the Horse Race Trackcompletely, its really not worth the money and time. Some of the food trucks here are also joining the bigger one at Jack in the Box. Location is also just too far to me.
